Lenora Billings-Harris is a Certified Professional Speaker (CSP), diversity strategist, and author of The Diversity Advantage: A Guide to Making Diversity Work. With more than twenty years of experience in the public and private sectors, Lenora has developed a unique way of presenting sensitive topics in a high-energy, thought-provoking and non-judgmental way. Her interactive style, and immediately applicable "how-to's" have caused clients to invite her back again and again. She designs and delivers presentations and helps lead diversity initiatives for Fortune 500 companies as well as professional associations and educational institutions.
She is a past president of the 4000 member National Speakers Association and is on the adjunct faculty of the Bryan School of Business and Economics, University of North Carolina-Greensboro where she and her award winning team have conducted research on diversity and leadership effectiveness. Lenora has presented to audiences on in fifteen countries on five different continents and even in the middle of the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. Lenora was recently named by Diversity Woman Magazine as one of the twenty top influential diversity leaders in the US. Some of her clients include FedEx, Toyota, Cornell University, Krispy Kreme, American Express, Harley-Davidson, Social Security Administration, numerous institutions of higher learning and the Society of Human Resource Management.

Before founding Excel Development Systems, Inc., a full service training and consulting firm, in 1986, Lenora held key management positions with CIGNA Corporation, General Motors and the University of Michigan’s Graduate School of Business.
