USA Swimming Olympic Training Center, Colorado Springs04/06 – Present
• Develop and implement national, corporate diversity strategy to make USA Swimming Olympic National Governing Body and 300,000 member organization operationally diverse and inclusive.
• Execute and manage the National Learn-to-Swim initiative “Make A Splash” to reduce disproportionate drowning in diverse populations.
• Market and position “Make A Splash” on the local and national media outlets to gain recognition and financial support from various funding sources. To date, generated $2 million for programming.
• Strategize and partner with community organizations, political/governmental municipalities and aquatic leaders across North America to build programming, access and instruction for underrepresented communities.
• Develop and lead a national search/camp for diverse swimmers in order to build a pipeline for Olympic competition.
