Haiti is Cursed
They say there are no new ideas under the sun. And some would extend that sentiment to new ways to shock or surprise a fairly worldly adult. But I confess, every once in awhile I see something that just makes me shake my head.
For instance, I ran across a news item that said "on Jan. 12, the Rev. Pat Robertson supplied a televised discourse on the nation’s history, theology and destiny. Haiti has suffered, he explained, because its rebellious slaves “swore a pact with the devil” to overthrow the French two centuries ago. Ever since, he went on, “they have been cursed by one thing or another.”

I personally will never take the time to read any negative article. The item in the news article may be Rev. Pat Robertson's own belief. I do not believe any nation is cursed, the earthquake is a natural diaster, it could happen any where on earth.
